Bhumesh Verma is a seasoned legal practitioner with over 25 years of experience and the author of the book ‘Practical Guide to Drafting Commercial Contracts' published by OakBridge.
He has been a partner at Khaitan & Co., Paras Kuhad & Associates, and is currently the Managing Partner at Corp Comm Legal.
Akanksha Mishra
Akanksha is currently the CEO at Lawctopus Law School. She was an independent Litigator, practising at the Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench.
She has also been a corporate counsel for start-up companies and PSUs like Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL), MyCaptain, etc.

I have zero Contract Drafting experience. Will I be lost in this course?
Not at all. We start from absolute basics. Week 1 is literally ‘What is Contract?’ and ‘Fundamentals of Contract Drafting’
By Week 2, you’re drafting your first document. The course is designed for both law students and practicing lawyers with zero contract drafting background.
I only have 4-5 hours per week. Is that enough to complete the course?
Yes. Live sessions require 1.5-2 hours every week. Self-paced modules are optional but recommended and assignments will consume 1-2 hours.
You can do this in 4 hours/week. If you can’t make a live session, watch the recording. The course is designed for working professionals and busy students.
Will I actually get an Internship/Job after completing this course?
If you work hard and become one of the meritorious learners, you may be able to land a good internship or a paid client.
But here’s the truth: You have to put in the work. The course gives you the skills and introductions. You have to actually apply and interview well.
