About the Course

When someone is wronged, whether it is a delayed delivery, a tenant refusing to pay rent, or any other breach, the instinct to sue is strong. After all, they have suffered a loss and want justice. But filing a civil suit is not as simple as it sounds. For someone unfamiliar with court procedures, it can become a long and daunting process.

This is where a skilled civil lawyer steps in.

If you understand court proceedings and are confident in civil drafting, your career as a litigator can take off with incredible momentum. This course has been designed to help you achieve exactly that.

Developed for law students and lawyers, this course will teach you all about the process and stages of civil litigation, drafting of plaint, written statement, interim applications, evidence affidavits, etc.

You will also get access to 4 self-paced modules and recordings of live sessions on ‘Basics of Litigation’. Through these modules and recordings, you will learn about the hierarchy of courts, how to navigate case files, make effective case summaries, and use the e-courts website. You can study these modules at your own convenience, anytime and anywhere.
